Learn how student wage subsidies can help you take your business to the next level for little or no cost!

Join Tim Perron (ICTC Atlantic Regional Coordinator), Theresa Myra (Dalhousie University Co-op Education Coordinator) and Margaret Schwartz (NS Department of Labour and Advanced Education Youth Outreach Coordinator) to hear about the Provincial and Federal wage subsidy programs available to Nova Scotia businesses and not for profit organizations. You’ll learn how to find the skills you need within the Nova Scotia student community.

Your key takeaways from this session will be:

• Hear about how co-op students can add value to your organization
• Learn about provincial and federal student wage subsidies you may be able to leverage
• Gain an understanding of the ICTC WIL-Digital program
• Gain an understanding of the provincial programs for students and new graduates
• Find out how to match your needs with student talent

What is the WIL Digital Subsidy?

ICTC’s WIL Digital is an innovative Work Integrated Learning program that helps employers grow their businesses by providing financial assistance for hiring post-secondary students. WIL Digital is funded by the Government of Canada’s Student Work Placement Program (SWPP) and provides a wage subsidy of up to 70% of wages to $7,000 for eligible students.

This summer, combine ICTC’s funding with the Provincial CEI program for a very cost-effective student work term experience.

To learn more about WIL Digital wage subsidies and to apply for a wage subsidy for a work term student, visit ICTC’s WIL Digital portal https://www.wil-amt.digital/en/ or contact Tim Perron, ICTC’s Atlantic Regional Coordinator t.perron@ictc-ctic.ca or 902-334-0103 ext. 841.
