Senior Manager, Human Resources (Remote)

  • You have a talent for analyzing complex data and telling the business story as well as solving problems through the data.
  • You are able to navigate a variety of regional employment law contexts, advise on complex and/or sensitive compliance, performance management and employee relations issues.
  • You have been a trusted People Business Partner and have a clear understanding of the complexities of the role and find excitement in the possibilities to unlock additional value by working closely with the Business Partner team

About the Role:

  • Partner with subject matter experts in core HR disciplines and the Business Partnering team to develop people solutions by collecting, analyzing, and aligning information – integrating them into a coherent transformation and operational plan.
  • Map existing policies, processes and common practices across ResMed locations, and design and implement global people solutions informed by best practice, governance requirements and ResMed business context and culture.
  • Identify opportunities to align work with the right skill level and experience. Become a champion to transition operational and administrative work from Business Partners into Shared Services through partnership with the regional Shared Services leaders and team.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the business to enable systemic change management and appropriately manage risk.
    Advise on escalated, complex and/or sensitive compliance, performance management and employee relations issues.
  • Act as a peer leader as a member of the Global People Experience team and site-leadership teams, respected by senior leaders across the ResMed business. Engage, motivate and develop a team of People Advisors to be valued counselors and creative problem solvers to business leaders and managers.
  • Work with People Systems and Analytics team to inform the infrastructure and capabilities required to optimize technology to improve the ResMed employee experience and enable efficient and effective process implementation.
  • Partner with cross-functional merger and acquisition team to ensure successful delivery of People integration activities.
  • Create a team culture that taps into the individual strengths of each team member and not only embraces, but accelerates, continued growth and improvement.

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus
  • Must have strong HR experience supporting Canada/US employees, experience supporting California employees a plus
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, 2 or more years managing a team
  • People Operations experience in setting up and leading transformation
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Business Partnering experience preferred

  • Proven leadership executing high quality service standards
  • Excellent project management skills and agility and resourcefulness to drive company-wide initiatives
  • Ability to create and deploy holistic, simplified and integrated people-related systems.
  • Skilled at growing team members for high performance, engagement, and the HR talent pipeline
  • High-level of personal integrity and confidentiality
