System Integration/Test Engineer (Sr.)

Specific Job Description

  1. Develop test plans and procedures to verify software requirements in an Agile environment
  2. Develop and execute tests using the Lockheed Martin Canada Inc. (Lockheed Martin) automated test tool
  3. Document results in the Lockheed Martin Test Management System
  4. Document, assess, and test deficiencies using the Lockheed Martin defect tracking tool

Required skills, qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
  • Must be willing to support schedule including evenings and weekends, as required
  • Must have an aptitude for solving challenging problems in a team environment
  • Must have a high degree of initiative and autonomy
  • Must be able to obtain NATO Secret security clearance.

Desired skills, qualifications and experience

  • Software test experience
  • Software test automation experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with Linux
  • Familiarity with BASH and Python
  • Familiarity with Java and C++
  • Familiarity with DOORS
  • Familiarity with Subversion and/or Git
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodology is considered an asset
  • Active NATO Secret security clearance is considered an asset.
