UAT Manager

We are currently seeking a UAT Manager to join our team here in Halifax!


  • Collaborated effectively with stake holders to ensure project deliverable remain on track and aligned with business goals
  • Collaborates and supports end-to-end Integrated UAT
  • Manage inter-dependencies across all Work Stream and Test Levels
  • Supports Program End to End User Acceptance Testing efforts, Review architecture and design decisions
  • Develop Program Test Schedule for IUAT across all workstreams in partnership with the project managers
  • Participates in the reviews the Program Scope, Business Requirements and System Requirements to define the Program Level Test Strategy and traceability of requirements for testing across the program and review it with all the necessary stakeholders (Business/Technology); review entry/exit criteria for each phase and sign off on move to next phase
  • Collect & report test status, progress, quality & project metrics; ensure that all testing results are easily accessible & understandable
  • Manage risk and issues associated with test effort and escalates as required to Program, Technology or Business
  • Communicate test status to Program, Works Stream PMs and Business Leads as required
  • Facilitates discussion across workstreams and stakeholders to resolve testing issues
  • Ensure that Work Streams follow the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the PMO guidelines


  • At least 3 years experience working as a QA/UAT Manager and over 6 years in QA total
  • Advanced knowledge of common testing tools
  • Manual and Automation testing experience
  • Experience using JIRA, QRM, Python
  • A knowledge of accounting functions and in particular Funds Transfer Pricing
  • Experience/knowledge of the banking industry is required
