Be part of the momentum. We are seeking a Manager for our growing Cyber Security Services team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax, and business consulting firm in Canada, protecting businesses’ best interests. Our Cyber Security team helps identify, evaluate and manage risk exposure to protect a company’s reputation and assets. Specifically, our team identifies and addresses cybersecurity challenges, tests the resiliency against cyber-attacks, assists with IT governance and strategy, reviews and advises on defensive controls and offers advice on information security and privacy for all types of clients.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver industry and technical expertise in information security through client interactions, reports, technical work, management presentations and the creation of high-quality deliverables
  • Execute transactions through the provision of client services including planning, budgeting, scheduling and coordinating engagements
  • Facilitate collaboration with client engagement team before the commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, materiality and deadlines
  • Identify ways to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added value
  • Leverage team appropriately to ensure proper documentation is prepared for the client and procedures relating to the file are followed accordingly
  • Maintain high-quality control by reviewing work done by other team members for accuracy and completeness; provide feedback to team members
  • Develop business relationships through contacts and drive Cyber Security opportunities with existing MNP clients
  • Monitor project timelines against targets and adjust where necessary; advise clients of project status
  • Network and take a leadership role in the local professional and business community while raising awareness of MNP and looking for new business development opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
  • Develop, coach and train team members towards professional and personal development
  • Conduct formal, written annual performance reviews
  • Promote regular attendance, balanced lifestyle and high standard of team wellness
  • Attend internal MNP courses to further develop knowledge around performance improvement
  • Assist in scoping and developing SIEM related Statements of Work based on client requirements
  • Understand and comprehend leading cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO and PCI and technical solutions to the requirements.
  • Understand and comprehend results from network and application layer vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
  • Present assessment results to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Monitor project timelines against targets and adjust where necessary; advise clients of project status and issues within a timely manner
  • Attend internal MNP courses to further develop knowledge around performance improvement

Skills And Experience

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering, computer science or a related field
  • Minimum 2 (2) years of experience in security services
  • Office 365 Security / Microsoft Azure / Azure Security / Sentinel / ATP certifications would be an asset
  • Completion of CISSP, CISA, CISM and/or other related certifications is an asset
  • Relevant work experience in deploying and managing SIEM solutions
  • Security Clearance
  • Some limited travel across Canada may be required.
