Digital Nova Scotia partners with Tourism Nova Scotia to launch DigiPort, a digital resource for tourism businesses to access services and supports to improve their online presence and learn digital marketing skills
Today, Digital Nova Scotia is excited to share that DigiPort has officially launched. The newest feature of the Tourism Digital Assistance Program (TDAP), DigiPort will help address current digital knowledge gaps and provide sustainable digital practices to Nova Scotia’s tourism industry.
Digital adoption has been a priority for many over the last two years, and DigiPort provides an opportunity for tourism businesses and operators to keep learning and access resources and services they need. Delivered in partnership with Tourism Nova Scotia, DigiPort is an online portal where users can engage with qualified digital experts, attend webinars and workshops, sign up for 1:1 sessions, and access templates, tools, articles, and videos to help them increase visibility online, extend their reach, and secure more sales. The key areas of support will be in digital marketing, social media management, search engine optimization, web development and helping tourism businesses get the most from their online activity.
DigiPort is available at no cost to tourism businesses and organizations that are based in or regularly conduct business in Nova Scotia. This is the first digital technology resource of this kind specifically for tourism businesses in Canada.
