
Lights, Camera, Action is delivered by Tourism Nova Scotia and Digital Nova Scotia to help tourism businesses work with qualified digital media producers and improve their digital presence.

Digital Nova Scotia has partnered with Bluedrop ISM on the Skills for Hire Atlantic program. This digital skills and career-building training program has been designed to help fill the need for qualified entry-level talent in Atlantic Canada's tech sector. This project is funded by the Government of Canada’s Adult Learning, Literacy and Essential Skills Program.

We’ve partnered with Tourism Nova Scotia to help connect tourism businesses with digital service providers that can help them develop or enhance effective digital marketing tools. It’s an exciting project that gives our digital community the opportunity to collaborate with the tourism sector in our province.

In partnership with the Discovery Centre, youth are immersed into the vast and ever-changing digital world making our summer camps unique each year, programming and various other realms of digital technology. The Opening Doors program is designed to provide resources for educators surrounding tech industry roles and the skills students will require for entering the ICT sector workforce.

We’re excited to be working with small businesses across the province to connect them with digital marketing experts through the Digital Assistance Program for Small Business, thanks to support from the Government of Nova Scotia.

The tech sector in Nova Scotia continues to thrive and the need for entry-level talent remains a priority. Designed to support learners who have traditionally faced barriers entering Nova Scotia’s tech sector, Get Into IT provides participants with in-demand digital and professional skills training at no cost. Learners from underrepresented communities* are invited to become active members of the province’s tech sector through this program, and contribute to a diverse and innovative industry.
